GRAFTON, Mass. -  Operation Friendship is raising money by collecting lightly used sports equipment for its annual fundraising sale.

Donate your lightly used kid or adult sports equipment to the non-profit organization and receive a charitable donation deduction. On Saturday, March 10, representatives of Operation Friendship will be stationed at the Congregational Church in Grafton Center between from 8 p.m. to 1 p.m. to receive your lightly used sports equipment.

Operation Friendship will provide you with a receipt for your equipment, which is tax deductible.Donations of any size boys, girls and adult, lightly used football, ice hockey, street hockey, field hockey, soccer, basketball, lacrosse and tennis equipment will be greatly appreciacted. Hockey and lacrosse sticks are welcome, as are soccer balls, basketballs, footballs, and other sports accessories.

One week later, on Saturday, March 17, Operation Friendship will hold their Annual Sports Equipment Sale, also at the Congregational Church in Grafton Center from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is a great opportunity for you to shed your used equipment and shop for lightly used equipment.
