Grafton artist Alison Picone will be among the vendors at Women's Night Out.

GRAFTON, Mass. -Grafton women: tonight is your night out. Shopping, door prizes, raffles, and massages will all be a part of the evening’s activities at the Ninth annual “Women’s Night Out: Stress-Free Shopping.” 

This year, the event takes place at the Grafton Elementary School, located at 105 Millbury St., on Friday, Oct. 21, 7-10 p.m. Admission is free but bring a canned food item for the food bank shelves. Girl Scout Troop #30260 will be on hand to collect canned goods for the food bank.

Over 30 direct sales vendors and crafts people will offer a range of creative handcrafts, gifts, and services.  

Merchants include:  Kim Lipinski with jewelry and creative illuminations, Jeanne Coleman with ‘Thai Transformations’, Sandhya Shenoy with handcrafted jewelry, Shana Sarault of Arbonne international, Keila Haskins, consultant with The Pampered Chef, Rebecca Bell of At Home America, Paula Touhey of K & P Design (felted creations), and Denise Conary, Silpada Representative. Home-based businesses include Jan Berry’s Homemade Soups, Rebecca Scholl’s ‘Fruit of the Spirit Jams and Jellies’, Tracy Grondin’s custom crystal rings, Ed King’s handmade birdhouses, and Susan Posterro of Bel Scriba (handmade baby items).  Heidi Swanick will offer pins for Abby’s House, Sarah Clements-Boyer offers various gift items from Kenya, and Nicole Boticelli returns with her delicious, gourmet candy-covered apples.  

Additional gift-giving ideas include Nick Mazzamurro’s stained glass and dichroic jewelry, assorted items from Angel Hair Alpaca, and artwork and note cards from Allison Picone, Grafton artist. Boy Scout Troop #107 will be selling popcorn as part of their annual fundraiser as well.

In addition to shopping, raffle prizes donated from the vendors will be on display, and raffled off at the conclusion of the evening.  Raffle tickets will be available during the event, and all proceeds will go to the Grafton Food Bank.  The evening includes door prizes, and guests may enjoy complimentary chair massages from Julie Bovenzi and Jo-Ann Gaulin, LMT’s, from the Spirit of Wellness in North Grafton.
