Grafton High School Bowling Team

GRAFTON, Mass. - Many Grafton High School sports teams are well known across town. Some, like the GHS bowling team, are rolling under the radar.

The team is hosting a bowling party fundraiser at the AMF Auburn Lanes on Feb. 12 from 1 to 4 p.m.

Grafton's resident rollers, now in their third year, play every Friday against other local high schools.

"The team is raising money to cover the cost of playing at AMF Auburn," said parent Erin Griffin. "There will be prizes, raffles and a special raffle for Boston Bruins tickets."

Three tickets to a Bruins home game against the Washington Capitals will be raffled off. The game takes place Thursday, March 29 at 7 p.m. at the TD Garden in Boston.

Raffle tickets will be sold for five dollars and can be purchased at Grafton High School in the main office, or from school nurse and Bowling Coach Cecelia Thurber. The drawing will take place at the party on Feb. 12, where $10 will buy you three hours of bowling including shoes and balls.
