GRAFTON, Mass. - The Grafton Middle School boys and girls basketball teams are finshing their 2011-12 season with a bang on Monday.
The third annual "Grafton Goes Pink" fundraiser will be held as the teams play their finals games of the season. The boys tip off at 3:30 p.m. and the girls will follow at 4:30 p.m.
During the school day, the teams will be collecting one dollar donations for Komen for the Cure and then during the game, the teams will be wearing pink tee shirts under their jerseys.
The teams have set their goals high this year, hoping to break last year's mark and reach the $500 plateau. Last year the teams raised $400, which beat the standard set in the first year of $300.
Admission is free, and donations will be collected at the game as well.
Good luck to both the boys and girls teams!

After the actions of Komen this past week, I don't see myself ever financially supporting them, but I do wish the sports teams well in their respective games.
